All-Valley League (9U/10U teams)
General Program Information: The All-Valley League is designed for the new player, or the players transitioning from 8U Academy onto a bigger field and team setting. This is our first program that is separated by gender. RF United 10u All-Valley Teams will be based in Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, or Glenwood - this means that the team will have training sessions at a field in the given town. Games in the All-Valley league will be scheduled from Silt to Basalt. This is a developmental program for 10U players; players who want a more competitive environment should consider registering to an MRL team.
Commitment: Players rostered on a team are expected to attend practices and games regularly. Trainings will occur two times per week, between 3:30pm and 7pm for 1 hour sessions; exact practice days and times will be determined by each team's coach. Games will be scheduled on Saturdays, but may be rescheduled for Sundays or weekdays. The fall season will end with a 10u Jamboree (mini-tournament); at the end of the spring season 10u teams are invited to participate in our tournament, the Rocky Mountain Invitational, over Memorial Day weekend.
Location: 10u All-Valley teams will be based at Rio Grande (Aspen), Crown Mountain Park (El Jebel), Miners Park (Carbondale), or Sullivan Park (Glenwood Springs).
Duration: 2 training sessions per week for 8-10 weeks per season. Games are on Saturdays; make up or rescheduled game may be scheduled on Sundays.
Season Dates:
Fall sessions will begin the last week of August, games begin the second week of September; end of season Jamboree is the last Saturday in October.
Spring sessions will begin mid-March; season ends with the Rocky Mountain Invitational over Memorial Day weekend.
Practice Days/Times: Practices will be held 2x/week for 1hr sessions; practice time is determined by the coach (or coaches) based on coach availability. When registering, please indicate your preference for practice days (M/W or T/TH) and a practice time (early = start before 5pm or late = start at or after 5pm). We will do our best to place players on teams that best match those preferences.
