Get Involved!
Roaring Fork United is more than a soccer club. We are a community of players, families, coaches, and staff working together to create positive experiences for young athletes throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
Whether you are an experienced soccer professional, a parent interested in coaching, or someone who enjoys supporting youth and building community, there are many ways to get involved.
Recreational Coordinator
The Recreational Coordinator supports RFU’s youngest age groups—6U, 8U, and 10U—and serves as a primary resource for players, families, and coaches. This seasonal, part-time position combines program coordination, communication, coach support, and a visible presence at practices, games, and club events throughout the valley.
This may be a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and passionate about youth soccer and community engagement.
Lead Trainer - High School Programs
The Lead Trainer provides technical leadership for RFU’s high school-aged teams while supporting the development of both players and coaches. This seasonal position includes serving as the head coach for up to two teams, mentoring other high school coaches, and helping create a consistent, high-quality training environment across the program.
We are seeking an experienced, highly licensed coach with strong leadership skills and a commitment to player-centered development. This role will begin as a pilot position for the Fall 2026 season.
Academy Site Liaison
Academy Site Liaisons help create a positive and well-organized experience at RFU’s Academy locations in Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, and Aspen. These seasonal positions are available to current RFU coaches who are interested in taking on an additional leadership role.
Site Liaisons support coaches, welcome families, answer questions, communicate with club staff, and serve as an on-site extension of RFU’s leadership team.
Become an RFU Coach
Coaches are essential to the RFU experience. Coaches help young players build skills, confidence, friendships, and a lasting love of the game.
You do not need to be a soccer expert to make a difference. RFU provides coaching resources, guidance, and support throughout the season. Opportunities are available across multiple age groups and communities, with roles for both head coaches and assistant coaches.
