TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
Tournament games will take place Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
Friday is reserved as a backup day in the event all games cannot be played Saturday and Sunday. If necessary, only local teams will play on Friday evening.
We have no lodging requirements to participate. We recommend booking accommodations early; they often sell out over Memorial Day weekend. Games will be played at fields easily accessible from Glenwood, Carbondale, or Basalt. New Castle and Aspen will be further from the fields but still manageable.
Parking is extremely limited; carpooling is highly recommended.
DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON FIELDS!
Scores and schedules will be updated throughout the weekend.
Tournament check-in must be completed Tuesday, May 20 at midnight.

Divisions:
Boys and Girls:
- 10U
- 11U/12U
- 13U/14U
- 15U/16U
- 17U/18U/19U
Brackets in divisions will be created based on requests and results from current and past season league play.
Maximum roster size by age group:
- 9U-10U (7v7): 14 players
- 11U-12U (9v9):16 player
- 13U-15U: 18 players
- 16U-19U: 22 players
Guest players (from outside the club) allowed by age group:
- 10U three guest players
- 11U-15U five guest players
- 16U-19U six guest players
*No limit to Club Pass players (from inside the same Club as the team)
Format: Games shall be played under IFAB rules, subject to certain modification. Three game minimum.
- 10U will play 7 v. 7
- 11U and 12U will play 9 v. 9
- 13u+ will play 11 v. 11
Scoring: The tournament uses a point system as follows:
- Three (3) points for a win
- One (1) point for a tie
- Zero (0) points for a loss
- One (1) point for a shutout
- One (1) point for each goal scored, with a maximum of three
- Fair play penalty points:
-1 for yellow card
-3 for red card
Tie Breaking Criteria:
- Head-to-head (where applicable)
- Fair Play Record: Fewest combined infraction points
- Fewest goals allowed
- Goal differential
- Most goals scored (up to 3 per game)
- Penalty kicks – to be taken 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the quarterfinal or semi-final game
Awards: Individual medals for 1st and 2nd place in each division

CHECK IN DETAILS
Online check-in through PlayMetrics must be completed for each team by Tuesday, May 20 at midnight. Documents will not be accepted via email or in person at the fields.
Required Documents:
- State Verified Team Roster
- Rosters for teams from Clubs registered with Colorado Soccer Association must be submitted via PlayMetrics roster builder.
- Rosters for teams from outside of Colorado must upload a PDF of their state verified roster. This roster must include players’ verified birth dates and player photos.
- Player ID cards are only required for out of state teams with rosters that do not include photos. If necessary, player IDs can be uploaded.
- Guest Player Form ( (if applicable) must be uploaded.
- Approved Application for US Youth Soccer Travel to Tournaments or Games (if applicable).
- All teams outside of Region IV must submit this form. Check with your State Association for the appropriate form.
- Medical releases/waivers are not required to be submitted prior to the tournament. However, Coaches MUST have immediate access to medical releases for ALL players at each game.
- If the team does not have medical waivers that were signed during player registration, please have this Medical Release Form completed and on hand at the tournament for each player.
