ALL VALLEY LEAGUE

The All-Valley program is designed for the new player or the players transitioning from 8U Academy into a team setting. This is our first program that is separated by gender and has a designated coach or coaches for the team. 

Recreational teams for boys and girls born 2016-2017; teams compete in the All-Valley League. Teams are coached and games are refereed by parents or community members. 

The RFU All-Valley League is a recreational program for players in the 9u-10u age groups. It is designed for the new player, or the players transitioning from 8U Academy onto a bigger field and team setting. This is a developmental program for 10u players and is the first age group entirely split by gender.

Commitment: Trainings 2x/week starting between 4pm and 5:30pm for 1 hour sessions + Saturday morning games; make up or rescheduled game may be scheduled on Sundays or weeknights. Nine weeks in fall, seven weeks in spring.

Location: RF United 10u All-Valley Teams are town-based. This means that the team will have training sessions at a field in the given town (Basalt/Willits, Carbondale, Glenwood). 

*During the fall season, a team with practices at Rio Grande (Aspen) may be available. This is not an option for spring due to weather and field availability.*

Games will take place at:

• Crown Mountain Park - Basalt/Willits
• Miners Park, Three Bridges, or Crystal River Elementary School (CRES) - Carbondale
• Sullivan Park - Glenwood Springs

Practice Days/Times: Practices will be held 2x/week with practice days, start time and length determined by the coach (or coaches) based on availability.

Game Days and Times: Six All-Valley League games will be scheduled on Saturday mornings (possible start times: 9am, 10:15am, 11:30pm, 12:45pm). Coaches may reschedule games to Sundays or weeknights if necessary. All-Valley League games are refereed by coaches. Why coach-referees?

All-Valley League Dates 2025-2026: 

• Fall Season: August 25 – October 25, 2025 (9 weeks)
• Includes a 10u Jamboree on Saturday, September 6
• Spring Season: April 6 – May 24, 2026 (7 weeks)
• Includes tournament participation at the Rocky Mountain Invitational May 23-24, 2026.

Team Size: 10U roster size is 12 players, teams play 7v7.

Team Formation: Location preferences are prioritized when creating 10u teams. Other preferences for practice time, teammate, or coach will be considered for registrations submitted by 7/15.
